These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website Content-Dept.com (the "Website") and any services provided by Content Dept. LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Website and services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our Website or engaging our services, you agree to abide by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
2. About Content Dept.
Content Dept. LLC is a media agency and educational platform focused on creating engaging content for small and large businesses in the United States. We provide Photography, Videography, Consulting, and AI-based content. Additionally, we offer educational services for creative professionals and entertainment content, including but not limited to interviews, podcasts, reels, and memes.
3. Privacy and Data Usage
  • We use cookies and track IP addresses for security and analytics purposes.
  • We do not sell our website visitors' or users' information.
  • If you subscribe to our newsletter or email updates, you may unsubscribe at any time.
4. Intellectual Property
Content Dept. LLC owns the copyright to all work produced by Content Dept. and its employees. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our work is strictly prohibited.
Users who submit comments, photos, videos, or reviews grant Content Dept. the right to use such submissions as potential marketing material. If used, the user’s initials and location may be displayed if available.
If work is created by an independent contractor or freelancer, a separate agreement will govern ownership rights.
5. User Conduct
Users must not engage in harmful, hateful, or disruptive behavior. Content Dept. LLC reserves the sole right to determine what constitutes a violation. Any user violating this policy may be banned, and their accounts removed without notice.
6. Payments & Fees
  • We require a 30% non-refundable deposit upfront for all projects.
  • Our standard hourly base rate for media services is $150 per hour. All client pricing follows this rate as a baseline. 
  • Payments must be made in full upon final delivery of media.
  • Late payments may incur additional fees.
  • Subscription services are non-refundable. Cancellations must be requested before the next billing cycle. If a user cancels a subscription on January 5th, it will remain active until February 1st.
By making a purchase, the client acknowledges and accepts these terms.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If a project is canceled after work has commenced, the client remains responsible for payment covering completed work.
  • Refunds are issued only in rare circumstances at our sole discretion.
8. Limitation of Liability
Content Dept. LLC is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Website or services. Under no circumstance shall our liability exceed the amount paid by the client for our services.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. You agree to resolve disputes through negotiation first, followed by mediation or arbitration if necessary. The costs of arbitration will be shared equally by both parties unless otherwise determined.
10. Changes to Terms
Content Dept. LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms. If changes materially impact user rights, we will provide reasonable notice before implementing such changes. Continued use of our Website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
